Ask HN: Correlation of GenAI with Show HN Posts
My theory is GenAI will rapidly increase productivity and the amount that small dev teams can do in a short amount of time (think hobby projects that one day, might turn into something).
I've also seen people on HN analyze frequency of posting, optimal posting times, etc. I would love to see the raw number of Shown HN posts plotted over time. Even better if we could annotate release of various models.

New model releases indeed lead to more Show HN posts, but not in the way you expect. Someone will register a bunch of similar domains, throw up a generic landing page, and submit to Show HN to capitalize on the wave of attention, confusing people who don't know the model developer's official page.
That has to be a small % of the actual Show HNs compared to people being able to ship 10x faster
