Can Apple fix the mediaanalysisd CPU hog?

This daemon makes my new mac mini silly hot, while it's a new install and otherwise totally idle.

People have been complaining about it throughout the years on the web, yet apparently even in the latest macOS it's still a huge resource hog.

Maybe someone at Apple will listen?
