Ask HN: Why is X (Twitter) undeleting deleted content?
I have already deleted everything multiple times, but the platform seems to undelete most of it after a certain amount of time. That's the only reason why I haven't deleted my account yet.
Is there a technical reason why this keeps happening? Or is it just the platform or it's owner trying to pretend inactive users are still active to avoid more users leaving for alternatives?

my account was suspended and all its content deleted after a while (i can still log in though)...you could try publishing content they might consider against their rules
I've not experienced this myself, but this is a good reminder to do and delete all my content there (after redownloading all my data from them again)
