My first (and second) webpages, both Star Trek fanpages, were hosted on Geocities. The first was in the Area51 neighborhood, and the Stargate suburb within that. I'm not sure that I remember the "street number". The second was when they had switched to just using your username.
In both cases, they were just collections of pictures, sound files, and video clips that I'd stolen from various other sources, with html built in Netscape Composer. But it was probably the first time that I messed with any actual code, even document code.
