This is very old news, but I'm glad the word is getting out. Firefox is an ad-tech company now and should be avoided.

I transitioned to Waterfox. It has a couple issues such as being unable to login to my banking services and getting Youtube to sign into Google's SSO but I hope to resolve at a later time. Be prepared to reconfigure all your extensions again though..

All data processed by Anonym is encrypted end-to-end. Data is processed in Trusted Execution Environments using Intel SGX.

Oh boy... (And I say that as a cautious optimist about both Firefox and secure enclaves.)

Lots of expletives in the article, but the TL;DR:

Mozilla bought an ad-tracking company run by ex-Meta executives and Mozilla is selling your browsing activity in Firefox "privately" to advertisers.

Mozilla has given up on privacy.

Mozilla is selling your browsing activity in Firefox "privately" to advertisers

Do you have a better source for this?

Where does it say Mozilla has your browsing history or sells it?
