Another reason to consider staying away from bcachefs (at least for the time being): major on-disk format changes, like the latest one that's going to be part of 6.14. Kent does promise that "this is planned to be the last big on disk format upgrade before the experimental label comes off.", but who's to say how many more big format changes are to come after the label comes off?
