I began to roll my eyes while reading this. For anyone that does any composing and has understanding of arpeggios and scales, you'll know that there are thousands of works including your own using these musical devices to create "peaks and valleys."

After actually seeing the midi structure, I have to say that it is pretty cool. Mystical, probably not, but certainly interesting.
