My daughter graduates high school this year and preferred to take dual enrollment instead of AP classes when available largely because of this issue. She did score a 5 on all the AP tests except one, a 4, she took during sophomore and junior year. She has already been accepted to 2 out her top 3 choices and is awaiting early action decision from the other. Neither of those 2 will give credit for the 4. The one she is waiting on will and all her backup schools would have. All of the schools she applied to would accept transfer of credit for the dual enrollment classes she took. She will be undertaking a 5 year degree program so any tuition savings we can get is helpful.
