Ask HN: Simple pay-as-you-go accounting for SaaS

I couldn't find a lot of content online about how accounting for a SaaS would work if I wanted to implement a pay-as-you-go system; so I wrote a small blog post on it.

I'm curious about how other people are solving this kind of a problem in their own software.
