Ask HN: Is Figma's Quality Dropping?

Has anyone else noticed and grown tired of Figma’s increasing bugs and instability? Over the past six months or more, the product quality seems to have steadily declined. Performance lags are much more common, bugs seem to pop up everywhere, and the UI3 update felt like a major disappointment.

I can’t help but feel that the decline started when Figma announced its transition from Skew (their custom programming language) to TypeScript. Why might this shift have impacted performance so negatively? Could it be related to how the new codebase integrates with their existing infrastructure, or is it just growing pains from the transition?

Would love to hear if others have similar experiences and thoughts on what might be going on.
