I think the author needs to define what they think Cyberpunk is.
If we take the definition from Wikipedia (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyberpunk) then the article has not successfully argued that Cyberpunk is already here. Our world doesn’t resemble Neuromancer, The Matrix, Blade Runner or anything else that’s generally considered cyberpunk.
