I guess that's another billionaire benfit: when you're rich and famous you don't have to apologise any more.

Contextually, I'm sure he thinks he's paid dues to mistakes of the past. But this assumes firstly all outcomes requiring apologies are known, and secondly that the apologies have been received by the affected parties.

Apologies are one of those societal deliverables which lie between people. There's a sender-receiver communicating protocol here, point to multipoint, multicast, with acknowledgement and (sorry Mark) retransmission.

Haven't seen a SYN-ACK yet. Do I mean SIN-ACK?
