Ask HN: How do you manage/version helmcharts?

I run a small 3 node cluster out of my office at home for Kubernetes to selfhost a myriad of things behind SSO on a private subnet.

I actually do like Kubernetes and found it easier to manage than Docker swarm, but I've never learned helmcharts.

I added a couple, but it seems magical. What's the best way to version control all the helmcharts I have?
