Ask HN: RoR- Custom error/flash tutorials/examples?

I'm a RoR newbie and looking for a good tutorial/examples on customizing the errors/alerts (via flash, etc) that are returned with Rails. I'm especially interested in those using Rails 3.2. Can anyone point me to some good ones? Thanks.
