As the title says. heymaven.com is scraping public posts and entire profiles from the fediverse and reposting them wholesale, without any scalable opt-out mechanism. Critically, while they are attributed to domain and display name, they are not attributed by handle, so it's not always possible to actually find the OP.

I thought it was about Maven the build system. Apparently there is "Heymaven" a social network?

Apparently they're importing drafts and direct messages too, somehow?

I'm not sure how that's possible, but it seems kinda worrying that ActivityPub lets you trivially make that mistake when mirroring data.
