I am prohibited to make money from sources of income other than my employer while on a US VISA.

Start a non profit specifically for people on VISA's which want to do more good impactful work by matching their skills to volunteer work, like www.volunteermatch.org

Start creating SaaS sites like @levelsio but give them away for free to build experience?

Upskill into AI / Robotics projects - what are good projects that are actually useful?

Work on open source software repositories - what ones make impact?
