This is a weird title. "Freak of Nature" do not appear in the linked information.

CedarDB is the commercial version of the impressive Umbra database system from TU Munich.

So its closed source, and not battle tested. This will be an uphill battle for cedardb, even if the blog post claims wonders.

https://cedardb.com/docs/technology talks about the technical details on how they maximize their usage of available cores and RAM, and their query optimizer.
