more than a million unread messages in my inbox

Mine inbox has 2, which are "deal with this week" time frame. After a decade, my "all mail" archived mail there amounts to less than 11k messages.

Email is a tool that requires consideration in care in use like any other. Learn to use your tools, instead of blaming them for your own disorganization.

As many ills as we can blame on Google, this guy's problems aren't among them.

Gmail is not private, but is probably the most secure and functional email service.

For shitty values of functional. Its biggest innovation as a product was giving people more storage than 1990's Hotmail. The Gmail product today runs on inertia and bootlickers like you to push it, aborsy.
