IIRC the idea is not to identify every single shape, but to sort in a few categories that are easier to resell, like "yellow", "hi-tech", "heads" (I don't remember tthe exact categories.)

How do you get the training data to recognize 38000 different shapes of lego?
How much training data is it even? I noticed in the video only pretty standard lego blocks are identified.
