Quality Assurance is not a joke. It's your insurance of yraceability, accountability, and accident prevention through process and observability. And yes, it costs.

When you don't do it, welcome to watching people die, and watching workpieces tear themselves apart.

That's... crazy. When I've been in safety critical industry, you had records for everything.
