Show HN: I made a tool to help you remember how to do things and automate tasks

Hello HN,

YesChef is a tool where you create recipes for things you want to remember how to do. If you’ve ever built a project, then tried to start a new one months later, only to find out that you’ve forgotten everything you did in your first project, that’s where YesChef can help. It’s a tool to document what you did so you can replay it back later.

A recipe can be text based and purely instructional, or it can contain scripts you can run to automate out repetitive tasks. You can then “run” a recipe, which means a log file will be created that you can use to leave yourself notes to review later, or if you are running a script, any output or error generated will be captured here as well.
