Hopeless. Perhaps they should self reflect on why they aren’t meeting people. Second, they need to self that when they do meet people why they lack sufficient charisma to go on a date. It’s ok to ask for help. Third, self reflect on why they cannot maintain a relationship.

I am among the most introverted anti-social and otherwise boring people I have ever met. Usually I am so bad at meeting people that I just wait for women to flirt with me. Nonetheless I have been married for 20 years through 5 military deployments. If someone as hopeless as me can do it then absolutely anybody can do it far more easily.

If these are software engineers they need to apply their troubleshooting capabilities to other aspects of life.

Well, that was depressing.

If your work schedule is such that you can’t find love the old fashioned way, make some changes.

If your social circle is such that you can’t find love, make some changes.

If you’re spending $13k/mo on expenses (!!) and you’re still alone, make some changes.

Instead of spending $100k on a dating bounty, develop hobbies that put you around other people, go to church, stay away from bars, spend time away from the city…in short, become an interesting person. Being interesting is attractional. Being a workaholic that needs to outsource your dating search isn’t.
