I wonder how much of their revenue came from this subscription. I'd assume not much, but enough to pay for itself and then some? Maybe not. Hopefully this doesn't mean a swift pivot to display ads (on top of their existing sponsored articles approach)

Just got this newsletter message stating that Techcrunch will stop charging for providing access to their content. Interesting strategic shift.
Nice. I unfollowed their RSS some time back - might be time to re-add it.
