Ask HN: Does an interview rejection affect whether you'd buy a companies stock

I've made investments in some companies after not getting an offer, mostly successful.

It's kind of like Groucho Marx, 'I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member'.

The rejection makes me think they have high standards. Sometimes.
