Ask HN: How to use IP allocation on residential internet?

On HN

I have a small IP allocation (/24) and would like to have these routed to my home network/lab. I cannot afford a business-grade connection with BGP etc. so I am looking for advice on the best way to use my IP allocation overlaid on residential internet.

There are various VPS providers that allow you to announce your own IP space. Vultr, for example, allows you to do this. See https://docs.vultr.com/configuring-bgp-on-vultr

Once you have it announced, you can tunnel it from the VPS to your location using whatever method you prefer. I am using Wireguard.
