Any descent alternatives to Grammarly premium?

I had Grammarly premium for many years as part of my university studies until it was dropped today. $30 a month for premium is a lot, and I am hesitant to pay the discount annual. Searching the web reveals a lot of alternatives, but I am not sure which is good or bad. Any ideas ?

Get a good grammar textbook (several available to buy) or buy the Chicago Manual of Style. These will help you learn grammar, spelling, and puncuation instead of relying on software.

I second this! Excellent advice.

There’s also ProWritingAid. You can buy a lifetime license if you don’t want another subscription.

Languagetools maybe?
