Show HN: I rendered 17k+ maps in different styles and they're CC licensed
supermap.worldAchieved through a brute force combination of topojson data from various sources (stats authorities, geoboundaries) x colour theory x combinations of different projections. When I get a moment I'll write up my approach.

Data sources are listed as geoBoundaries, OpenStreetMap, OSM Boundaries. But no links although the medium (the website) makes it easy to add links.

"Static images must be generally attributed the same way as interactive maps" "static images of fewer than 100 features do not require attribution. In addition, static images of areas less than 10,000 m2 do not require attribution. Small thumbnails/icons do not require attribution."
I'm not arguing that the works can't be licensed (https://supermap.world/licence), it's my understanding OpenStreetMap data can be repackaged and sold, but I think the works need to keep the original attribution, too. Creating and maintaining the county boundaries of a whole country is a lot of work by the OSM community (and is more than 100 features) https://supermap.world/m/36339-mercator-projection-map-of-tu...
Some oversight on my part, it's been on my to-do list to link those in via the database.
