Application specific keymappings in Arch Linux?

I have only lately discovered Kmonad, and it does map keymappings for your keyboard, with layers, macros and what not. BUT, not application specific. My Problem: i hate using ctrl+tab and ctrl+shift+tab to move focus between tabs in google chrome, and chrome doesn't let you configure these keymappings (or some other app that doesn't let you), how can one make keymappings that would work only when that window/app is active?
