Genuine question, do Netflix executives really believe that their biggest hits (Bridgerton, Squid Game, Stranger Things) are worth paying more than $20 a month?

I'm subscribed to the top tier because it is subsidized by my mobile carrier. If they were to raise prices like they did last year, I would cancel my subscription. I don't want to downgrade to lower image and audio quality, and new content is mostly underwhelming.

I think this price increase is only for the ad-supported tier, but yeah, it's funny how all the streaming services have gone up on price almost simultaneously. Something something market collusion.

I think they all wanted to, but did not want to be the first. I don't recall who the first was, but then they all did in quick succession
