HN: Anyone else offered a GRE Retest?
Today I received a letter from ETS stating that I can retest the verbal part of the GRE. They say that the testing algorithms were not optimized. Considering that I only scored a 590 on the verbal, I have thought about taking it again. Has anyone else experienced a similar situation? Did your score increase? I honestly thought I was just good at math and was terrible at English.

I can't speak to your situation, but I have a feeling that most graduate schools in engineering and science don't care that much about your verbal score if you're a native English speaker.
same here mate... got a mail a couple of days back for... had scored 560 in verbal..
