Beautifully made. There's a certain sense of wonder in meaning varying with level of zoom or scale.

I first noticed this as kid while reading newspapers. Greyscale photographs as well as colour photographs used halftone dots. I found it remarkable that so many different shades could be produced merely by varying the size and space of monochrome dots and the end result could look so close to an ordinary photograph!
