Where is generative AI in personal AI?

I know all the generative AI buzz is pretty recent but where are we in having it integrated in personal assistants? I’ve played around with connecting Chatgpt to Siri and Alexa and it’s been great, I can only imagine the power of having it actually be able to access all of their features. I guess I’m just wondering since apple doesn’t seem like their in a rush to add it to Siri and microsoft pretty much axed their personal assistant Cortana recently. Any ideas on who will actually build a useful personal assistant?
