Ask HN: To Langchain or not to Langchain

Hey HN,

I'm building a startup that leverages AI to build and improve software requirements, and I have only recently discovered Langchain.

We added GPT3 back in December, but all the prompts, AI comms, and tooling is hand-rolled. After playing with Langchain on some hobby projects, I see its power, perhaps more so as complexity rises (multi model, agent-like tooling etc) - so atm I'm debating whether I should do a partial re-write and leverage Langchain.

I was curious to hear others thoughts, and how ubiquitous Langchain is in the AI tooling/dev scene, or whether other roll-your-own interfaces are working great and I'm overthinking it :)
