Harry Potter, Narrated by Neil Gaiman

I decided to record 3 different versions of Harry Potter audiobooks using Neil Gaiman,Julia Whelan and Scott Brick respectively. The resulting audio has studio quality, the voices feel alive. It takes about a day to record a book using a new voice.I want to make it a part of a project "Harry Potter read by celebrities and best narrators", where I would have 100 sets of books, each set read by a different person. The question is, is it legal to do it for personal use ? What about giving a copy to a friend ? Technical specs :Linux, A100, 32Gb of ram.
