Hey everyone, full disclosure I'm the founder of Bracket. I obviously wrote this article in part to get people to use our new web app, but more specifically I wanted to show the dramatic design changes we've been pushing on during the last few months and document why we've made those changes.

Wasn’t there a code editor called brackets made by Adobe?
That's what I thought this was. Brackets coming back and becoming a web-only editor or something. Even though it was already a web-based editor.
So did I… are there no original names left? My company used the other Bracket extensively for years.
Also at first confusing is that the logo is the very recognizable Apple II logo.
I don’t see how you could confuse ][Bracket with the well established brand []Brackets. Also checkout my webapps WynnAmp and MichaelSoft Wurd.

Not trying to confuse anybody! Mostly just driven by wanting to find a name that was easy to spell and had a domain available for less than $10k :')
