Why does charging my Mac with the left side ports cause it to crash?

If I charge my mac using ports on the left side then kernal_task consumes all cpu resources. It seems something overheats.

I replaced the connecting cable with one from the Anker Powerline III USB C to USB C Charger Cable.

This is a 15-inch 2017 MacBook-Pro

That is a quite famous story: https://apple.stackexchange.com/a/363933

Ergo, high CPU usage by kernel_task is caused by high Thunderbolt Left Proximity temperature, which is caused by charging and having normal peripherals plugged in at the same time.

I have this exact same issue! 16-inch 2019 MacBook-Pro

It's so frustrating!
