Ribbon is a public employee recognition platform. You earn awards on Ribbon, issued by employers. You can display these awards on your profile, share them, and use them as proof of achievements.

Why use a blockchain for these awards? If the company disappears, you're laid off, fired, etc. you will always maintain access to this data. This is even true for Ribbon. We can't deny you access to your achievement data. It's all there on the blockchain.
