The other is that they're doing "opposition research" on each other, so they've clearly learned from the real players of the game.
The third is that apparently state actors are funding these manipulators, as hinted in the linked Taylor-Francis paper. It amazes me how dodgy even some diplomats are with their involvement in this kind of petty politics, and do they really believe that such politics have any influence?
The fourth is what the king of revisionism, Russia, is planning to do; apparently, they've already threatened Wikimedia Foundation with dubious lawsuits. I'd expect Роскомнадзор to soon ban the whole site.
