As a solo developer just starting a simple web app project, what data should I capture for Audit, Security and Analysis? And how do I capture and store this data? I was thinking of storing the data in a database, but the size of the database increases substantially and it becomes very expensive quickly.

What is your approach to store audit, securit and analysis related data without increasing the database size?
