Happened to me, there goes some of my old documents that I couldn't find in other backup locations. Appears it's possible Google would unblock it after 7-days, still terrible when I need the documents the most.
Think it is interesting since I'm seeing the critical security alerts on my other account appointed as recovery, so I can watch and mourn, just cannot get access. Also wonder what others feel about having location or device overriding recovery email in terms of trustworthiness.
