How clear are exec teams and product leads at your company about what is shipping and when? If they know, how do they know? Project management tools don't give you a clear sense of what's shipping and when.

How often do you have to answer questions of the nature "hey, when is that thing shipping?", "what's shipping in this next release?" etc.
