Misleading title/article. There're no settings to change. Simply update to latest OS version.

I did a search for similar news articles and found this:

In short: apply security updates that were released two days ago. If you can't, don't use Safari on Mac, but you don't have a choice for iOS/iPadOS.

I was duped by the headline and then as soon as I went to the site I was hit with one of those flying pieces of shit that blocks the screen.

Fuck you TwoFactor.
