Took me a few moments to fully understand the entire concept, looks like it has great potential (or would have had great potential 50+ years ago). Good for us, bad for the inventor that internal combustion engines are mostly on their way out. Still, very probably an idea worth pursuing for applications where ICEs can't be replaced.

ICE engines can run on hydrogen.
Fair point, which I hadn't considered. Hydrogen seems to be fairly inefficient regarding production, transport and storage, though. At least for now.
