Ask HN: LastPass hack: deleted LP accounts?

Wondering if anyone knows if LastPass deletes customer data when you leave the service? I deleted my account a few years ago and moved to 1Password, but copied the data over, didn't change any passwords. So basically I'm wondering if I should still change a bunch of passwords, or if LastPass deletes data when a user leaves their service?

I'd just change the passwords for your important accounts (banking, email, facebook, etc.) just to be safe.

It's good to regularly change those 5-10 passwords on a bi-monthly basis anyway.

Why would it be good practice to change your passwords bi-monthly?
