I’ve been keeping an eye on this, but it’s all self reported right could just be people poking fun? Correlated with the news last night and people waking up this morning.
They also parse tweets. Entirely possible somebody posting "twitter down would be really bad" on Twitter is taken as valid report.

I've been having tons of issues with the web client the last couple of days, but on iOS it's fine.
