I use Nord in Emacs, vim, iterm2, and vscode it was pretty easy to set up everywhere.

It got a bunch of attention this week. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=33406069

Solarized was my first contact with making my terminal look nice and matching it with my editors etc. Nowadays I use Nord everywhere but when I first followed the oh-my-zsh + iterm2 tutorials for OSX, I definitely used Solarized for a good 6 months.

I like the aesthetic and the fact that it is available for every app I use

IDE as root background is deep red (warning), as normal user terracotta.

It's been years, but I always come back to gruvbox

Black terminal, muted colors.

Default dark for IDE with Input Monospace font.
