i followed this for a while during early days. why couldnt they have simply have purchased 12 acres and established it as a private enclave as show/tell. they haven't proved the concept/idea anywhere before..no city govt..never mind in toronto, canada.. would agree to this kinda invasive private/public partnership. Disneyland is 'smart'. recreational parks all over the world have smart infrastructure. after a while, i realised that this was a tax write off for alphabet and quit following the news about it online.
