The issue with colors is that there's a slight variation for everyone. No one sees all colors exactly the same. The best thing to do is make this configurable for people who have serious issues with certain colors. Of course, good defaults are better but 1 color pair cannot fit everyone.

Yup, this is why I intend to add a feature similar to what mdbook offers on my website and zola theme if a visitor has 1st party javascript enabled.
