Ask HN: International software patent issues?

I'm wondering by what means are US based software patents enforceable to companies based outside of the US?

1. If say your company is based in New Zealand which doesn't enforce software patents are you able to be sued by a US software patent holder? 2. Does it make a difference where your servers/hosting is based? 3. If so which country would the court case be held?
