Correlation between today's market and 2008

So I was messing around on Microsoft Excel, and I noticed something eerie: http://i.imgur.com/JSkfk.png

The bottom image is the 5 months of DJIA data leading up to the crash, and the top image is the past 5 months. The numbers are startlingly similar. Now, obviously the DJIA isn't a predictive measure, but in a systemic, gradual crisis, where investor sentiment rapidly changes on a day-to-day basis, it can point to certain trends.

Either way, an interesting result.
